Happy Valentine's Day!

Some recent "art from the heart"!  I recycled some of my abstract paintings and turned them into mixed media collages.  I am back on track with my "artful journey" and trying to "follow my heart" and "be true" to my art and to myself.

Dot & Dash Art Show!

The Dot and Dash Show opened last week at Del Ray Artisans in Alexandria!  The show runs from February 1-24.  The highlight for me is having my daughter Zoe participate in the show!   Way to go Zoe!  Zoe's piece is titled "dots and dashes" after the show title.  My piece is a mixed media collage titled "be true."  I also donated a piece called "true love" to the silent auction.  I am so touched that a young, ten year old artist bought a mini heart collage of mine at the show as a Valentine surprise for her mom!  Be sure to check out the silent auction and the children's workshop this weekend!
